The Miami Heat will reportedly look to free up enough salary cap space in order to make a move for Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry.
With LeBron James said to be demanding a maximum contract, it is understood that both Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will take drastic pay cuts to help the Heat add to the roster.
Their decision will in turn free Miami up to become a serious bidder for free agent Lowry, with whom they are seeking a meeting, ESPN reports.
The Heat trio all decided to opt out of their contracts last weekend after meeting to discuss their futures, and it is expected that they will do so again in the coming days.
