The New York Knicks have decided to start Metta World Peace over Andrea Bargnani in their opening game of the NBA season, according to reports.
The Italian started all seven of the team's pre-season games, but the New York Post says that World Peace is expected to start at small forward, allowing Carmelo Anthony to return to power forward.
Anthony told the publication: "That's what he's going with. I think guys are ready for the move. Everyone seems on board with that. Whatever position we have to play, we have to go out and do it.
"It really doesn't matter to me. I've been successful in this league at the three. Last year I was successful at the four. Whatever adjustments I have to make, I have to make. I'm willing to do that."
The Knicks face the Milwaukee Bucks later today.
