British basketball player Luol Deng is selected to play in the NBA all-star game on February 26.

Luol Deng has been selected in the Eastern conference team to play in the NBA all-star match this month.

The Chicago Bulls small forward will be the first British player to take part in the exhibition match when he takes to the court in Orlando on February 26.

Deng has been in good form for the Bulls this season and was selected by the league's coaches.

The 26-year-old has averaged 16 points and 7.5 rebounds during his eighth season in Chicago and has been widely praised by the American press.

Miami Heat duo Dwayne Wade and LeBron James will be two of Deng's teammates for the match.

Deng spent his childhood in Brixton, South London after moving to the UK from Sudan.
