Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant cleared for action ahead of training camp

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant is cleared to return to the court ahead of his side's training camp, reveals general manager Sam Presti.

Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti has revealed that Kevin Durant has been cleared to participate in his side's training camp.

Durant underwent three operations last season on a stress fracture in his right foot, which limited him to 27 matches for the Thunder, who went on to miss the playoffs.

However, the 26-year-old returned to action for Team USA in their squad scrimmage over the summer and has now been given clearance to compete in all activities for the Thunder ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

"He's been playing without restriction, 5-on-5 and competing as normal," Presti told reporters.

"With that said, as any of our players coming off injury, we're going to be watching and managing practice, recovery time; we're going to be watching. But as far as limitations, he doesn't have any."

Durant was named MVP of the NBA in the 2013-14 season.
