Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has said that the crowd at Manchester's Phones 4 U Arena was "unbelievable" during last night's pre-season game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Durant, 25, was slow to get going in front of the 13,472 fans but ended the match with all-round numbers of 21 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds as the Thunder ran out 103-99 winners.
"The fans were unbelievable and they deserve to have some more basketball, and regular-season basketball too, over here and I'm sure you'll see them expand that in the future," he told BBC Sport. "Hopefully we'll be one of those teams that comes over because I've enjoyed it."
Durant and OKC, who were defeated by LeBron James and the Miami Heat in the 2012 NBA Finals, begin their quest for a first title at the Utah Jazz on Thursday, October 31.
