Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts has claimed that he was "proud" of how his side performed in overtime during their victory over the Toronto Raptors.
The Blazers were forced to claim the win in overtime following a fightback from the Raptors and Stotts admitted that he was impressed with the way the team secured the result.
"The overtime we played well, especially defensively," Stotts told reporters. "I was proud of the way we competed in overtime, made plays and got the win."
Portland's guard Damian Lillard was also eager to praise his teammates for their efforts in the extra period.
"We could have folded," the point guard claimed. "Once we got to overtime, on the bench we just said we need to get some stops, we need to execute and pull this game out. Then we went on the floor and we did it."
The Blazers have won their previous six games.
