Tim Duncan has received praise from Gregg Popovich and Manu Ginobili following his game-winning display against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
A jump shot from Duncan with 0.4 seconds remaining earned the Spurs a 102-100 victory and his coach was quick to hail his impact.
"[Duncan] did a great job," Popovich told reporters. "We were having a tough night in a lot of ways, and he was superb."
Despite struggling early in the season, Ginobili believes that his teammate is beginning to show his best form.
"Tonight was good for [Duncan] but we never lost trust in him," Ginobili revealed. "We would be crazy if we did. It does feel good to see him coming back, especially over the past few games."
Duncan finished Monday's game with 23 points and 21 rebounds.
