Great Britain's male wheelchair basketball team almost staged a remarkable comeback against Germany but fell just short in overtime, going down 77-72.
The Germans were clinical in the first quarter and managed to pull the scored from 6-4 to Great Britain to 21-10 in their favour by the buzzer.
The second quarter looked to be heading the same way, with Germany moving into a 34-16 lead before GB started their comeback. By the end of the half they had pulled back 11 points without loss and the sides were close at 34-27.
In quarter three GB managed to make up the remainder of the deficit and even ended the quarter 50-47 up.
However, the Germans fought back and led 66-64 inside the final minute. GB levelled again before Bywater missed a two-pointer at the death to send the game into overtime at 66-66.
However, Germany took advantage in the extended period and went on to win 77-72.
