Bradley Beal has said that he had to "step up" to help the Washington Wizards beat the Golden State Warriors.
The shooting guard scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half to help the Wizards to an 88-85 win over their hosts.
The 20-year-old told reporters: "I just kept shooting. I had amnesia, and I wasn't getting down on myself in the first half because I got good looks and I was taking what the defense was giving me and the shots that I wanted.
"I didn't lose my confidence or anything like that. I knew in the second half I had to step up for this team to be able to win."
The Wizards face the Los Angeles Clippers later today.
