Andrey Zamkavoy advances at Adam Nolan's expense

Ireland's Adam Nolan bows out of the Olympics by falling to a 18-9 defeat to Russia's Andrey Zamkovoy.

Irish welterweight Adam Nolan has seen his Olympic dream ended by Russia's Andrey Zamkovoy.

An even first round ended with the Russian 3-2 in front, but the Irishman came under some pressure in the second as Zamkavoy dictated the pace.

Zamkavoy stretched his lead to three points after two rounds, forcing Nolan to be more assertive in the final three minutes.

However, he could not overturn the deficit, which had grown to nine points by the final bell.
