British cruiserweight Tony Bellew has insisted that he won't look ahead to a potential rematch with Nathan Cleverly until he has faced Julio Cesar Dos Santos on July 12.
Bellew and Cleverly will face each other later this year if they can both come through their respective encounters in little over a week's time, but the Liverpudlian is refusing to underestimate the threat of his next opponent.
The 31-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "It's all about July 12, not about Nathan. I can't think about anything other than Julio Santos. He's a very, very durable and hard-punching Brazilian.
"I know that he is strong, he has never been stopped and he does a little of everything. Fans come to see me because I stop people, and this guy is a solid proven cruiserweight so we'll see what I can do with him.
"I've settled into the weight perfectly and you'll see a destructive performance on July 12."
Cleverly got the better of Bellew on points in their first bout almost three years ago.
