IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook has insisted that he will not be fighting Amir Khan this year.
The 28-year-old was tipped for a summer showdown with his British rival, but will instead focus on a potential clash with either Floyd Mayweather Jr or Manny Pacquiao.
"I think the Amir Khan fight is gone for this year," BBC Sport quotes Brook as saying.
"I'm the world champion and I will fight some other massive name. I'm not interested in what [Khan] does next now."
Brook is aiming to face the winner of the Mayweather-Pacquiao welterweight bout on May 2, but is yet to make contact with either camp.
