WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns has confirmed that he suffered a broken jaw during last night's fight against Raymundo Beltran in Glasgow.
The Scot, who was lucky to hold onto his strap after the judges controversially scored the fight as a draw, said in his post-fight interview that the damage was done in the second round.

Meanwhile, Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn also took to Twitter to reveal the extent of the injury.

Beltran has called for a rematch to take place in the USA.
