Four-time world champion Carl Froch is reportedly entertaining going head to head with Bernard Hopkins in the ring.
The American, who turned 50 last week, is believed to have told Golden Boy Promotions that he is ready to move down from light-heavyweight to super-middleweight to fight Froch.
According to the Daily Mail, the Nottingham-born fighter is considering the bout after facing numerous delays in securing a deal to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in Las Vegas.
Reports have claimed that Froch and Hopkins could go toe to toe in April or June this year at either Nottingham Forest's City Ground or the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas.
Froch is currently nursing an elbow injury that he suffered in training.
