Promoter Robert Diaz has suggested that walking out into the Manchester Arena will be one of the "greatest moments" of Jorge Linares's career.
Linares has won world titles at featherweight, super-featherweight and lightweight, but Diaz feels that the Venezuelan will savour the atmosphere in the North-West when he faces WBA lightweight champion Anthony Crolla on Saturday night.
Diaz told Sky Sports News: "You can look at it two ways - you have everybody against you - would you rather fight in an arena with five people cheering for you, or would you rather fight in an arena like this? He chose this one, that's why we're here.
"As much as you can practice or put into your mind what to expect, on Saturday we can't even imagine what it will be like. You have to live it, and put it down as one of the greatest moments of your career.
"I do see it as a very, very tough fight because of the will to win of Anthony Crolla but I don't see it as a difficult fight because of the talent that [Linares] is going to display."
The pair are also competing for the WBC Diamond and Ring Magazine belts.
