Chris Eubank Jr hits out at Gennady Golovkin's decision to fight Kell Brook

British middleweight Chris Eubank Jr takes to social media to criticise Gennady Golovkin's decision to fight Kell Brook in September.

Chris Eubank Jr has suggested that he wants to face Gennady Golovkin at the end of the year, despite negotiations for a clash between the pair falling through earlier this week.

British title holder Eubank and unified world champion Golovkin had been expected to fight at London's O2 Arena in September but after promoter Eddie Hearn claimed that Chris Eubank Sr wanted "full operational control" of the event, welterweight Kell Brook was announced as Golovkin's next opponent.

It is a move that has shocked the boxing world but Eubank is unimpressed with the decision of the big-punching Kazakh, who is a huge favourite to defeat an opponent who is stepping up two weight divisions.

Eubank's next move remains unclear but he could make another defence of his British crown before potentially facing the winner of Golovkin and Brook at the end of the year.
