World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has said that his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko has been postponed.
Fury had been scheduled to face Klitschko at the Manchester Arena on July 9, but the British fighter posted a video on Instagram to say that he had sustained a sprained ankle while training in the Lake District.
The 27-year-old said that he suffered the problem 10 days ago but after being assessed by two doctors, he had been advised to rest for six to seven weeks.
According to ESPN, there has been talk of the second showdown taking place during October, but this is yet to be confirmed by either camp.
In November, Fury caused one of the biggest surprises in recent boxing memory when he earned a points win over Klitschko in Dusseldorf.
