British heavyweight Tyson Fury has revealed that he has won his fight against bulimia.
The Mancunian, who faces America's Vinny Maddalone in Somerset tomorrow, piled on the pounds following his victory over Martin Rogan in April, tipping the scales at 23 stone.
Fury, unbeaten in his 18 bouts as a professional, said that he overindulged his sweet tooth after becoming depressed.
However, the 24-year-old said that he has now overcome his demons thanks to hard work in the gym.
"I was in a patch when I didn't care about anything - boxing, marriage, life," said Fury. "I'd pull into a garage and buy a carrier bag full of sweets, eat them, throw up and start again.
"If I kept on eating rubbish, I'd have been a diabetic or have heart problems.
"I have not been back there since I sorted myself out. I've knuckled down and got my diet right at last."
Fury is hoping to face one of the Klitschko brothers further down the line.
