British boxer Carl Froch has expressed his delight following the announcement that he will take on Mikkel Kessler later this year.
For Froch, the fight will give him the chance to gain revenge on Kessler, who defeated him in Denmark back in April 2010.
"This is the fight that I want more than anything in the world," said Froch.
"I put Mikkel up there as one of the great warriors in boxing and I am so excited about this fight and the chance to set the record straight against him."
While no venue for the fight has been confirmed, recent rumours have suggested that London's O2 Arena will stage the bout.
