The management team of Vitali Klitschko has approached David Haye with an offer of a WBC world heavyweight championship fight next year.
British boxer Haye recently admitted that he would be tempted to come out of retirement for a fight with the Ukrainian, despite previously stating he would not fight beyond his 31st birthday.
"Team Klitschko is in negotiations with Haye and has made him an offer," a management official for the Ukrainian brothers told Reuters on Tuesday.
"Now the ball is in Haye's court," he said.
The "Hayemaker" last fought against Vitali's brother, Wladimir, back in July but lost his WBA heavyweight championship in a unification fight.
