Brian Magee has said that he is happy to be facing a strong opponent in his first defence of his WBA super-middleweight belt.
The Northern Irishman faces Denmark's Mikkel Kessler in Herning this evening.
The 37-year-old said: "I could have picked an easier fight but I want to reach the highest pinnacle I can in boxing.
"The way I see it, you want to be world champion to fight the best out there.
"Without a doubt this is the biggest fight I've had but every fight over the last five fights I've been saying that. It seems to get bigger and bigger every time."
Kessler is one of only two fighters to have beaten IBF champion Carl Froch.
The winner of this fight will be in line to face Andre Ward.
