British lightweight Gavin Rees has admitted that he is targeting another world title shot, should he come out on top against Anthony Crolla.
The Welshman, who fights Crolla later this month, was stopped in the fifth round against WBC champion Adrien Broner in his last fight.
He insists that the loss did not affect him, and says that he is not afraid to travel to find the big fights.
"Crolla is one of the top lightweights in Britain," said Rees. "I've never boxed in Bolton before, so it shows I'll fight anyone, anywhere.
"The loss didn't change my perspective. I was straight back in the gym and training hard, back down to the nitty-gritty and trying to improve my style.
"Everyone's asking about [WBO champion] Ricky Burns and of course it would be a great fight, he's got the belts and that's why we're both chasing him. Hopefully I'll put on a great display and get myself back to the top of the tree."
Crolla recently admitted that he hopes a win could earn him a shot at Burns.
