Team Scotland boxer Ross Henderson has claimed that he has improved considerably as a fighter since competing in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Henderson went out in the last-16 stage four years ago, but has already made the quarter-finals this summer in Glasgow after beating Parveen Kumar on Friday.
"Well four years ago I was just there for experience. Now I am here to win a medal, I have showed today I can grit my teeth and drive through it so I am here to win a medal," Henderson told Sports Mole.
"In Delhi, I was just getting ready for Glasgow. I had only been boxing two years [entering Delhi] and the nerves got to me a little bit."
Henderson will face Team England's Joe Joyce in the next round.
