Great Britain boxer Nicola Adams defeated Stoyka Petrova of Bulgaria by points decision to progress to the semi-finals of the women's flyweight boxing.
This was the 10th meeting between the two with Adams winning in eight of the previous nine fights.
Both boxers started strongly in the first round with a couple of crisp shots connecting from both fighters. Reigning European Championship gold medalist Petrova just edged it in two out of the three judge's eyes.
Round two was a scrappier affair with the Brit looking slightly better, this time Adams had the better fight in the opinion of two judges.
Adams definitely looked the better fighter in round three, landing some big combinations, and the judges unanimously agreed in her favour.
Petrova knew she had to come out fighting in the fourth and did so but it was not enough to defeat the Olympic champion.
The Finnish and German judges awarded the fight in Adams' favour while the Argentinian declared it a draw.
Adams will now face Turkish representative Elif Coskun at 14.00 later today.
