Cuba's Robeisy Ramirez has advanced to the last eight of the Olympics with a comprehensive 12-point win over Thailand's Catchai Butdee.
The first round was an even contest until Ramirez landed a heavy shot, forcing the referee to step in and issue a count.
Ramirez then asserted his superior speed and punching power with a number of accurate blows that helped him on his way to a 14-7 lead after two rounds.
The Cuban was taking the bout at his own pace and looked extremely comfortable in closing out a 22-10 win.
