Tunisia's Ahmed Mejri has beaten Shafiq Chitou of Benin to advance to the last 16 of the Olympic lightweight boxing tournament.
In a fairly scrappy contest, it was Mejri who took the lead after the first round and did not relinquish it for the duration of the bout.
The Tunisian out-worked his opponent and eventually ran out a 16-9 winner.
