Hungary have secured another canoeing gold at Baku 2015, as the pairing of Zoltan Kammer and Tamas Szalai prevailed in the men's kayak double 1,000m event.
A time of 3:11.681 was enough for the duo to come out on top in Mingachevir, but they had to push hard to see off the challenge of the chasing pack.
In fact, Kammer and Szalai trailed Germany's Max Rendsc and Marcus Gross with 250m to go, only to cut the gap and eventually finish a split second ahead.
Vitaliy Bialko and Raman Piatrushenka of Belarus took bronze, despite being down in seventh place heading into the final quarter of the race.
Hungary also claimed gold in the women's kayak four 500m sprint earlier today.
