Great Britain's Richard Hounslow has pulled off a fantastic time to put himself into the semi-finals of the men's kayak K1.
After the first run, Hounslow was down in 15th out of 22, but an 89.12 in his second attempt has qualified him for Tuesday's finals day.
Hannes Aigner, 11th after run one, destroyed the competition with 83.49, a time more than three seconds ahead of the next quickest man Samuel Hernanz, with 87.07.
Vavrinec Hradilek impressed again with an 87.66, in which he slowed down over the finish line to showboat, suggesting that he can go much faster.
Hounslow's time was 11th-fastest and leaves him with an outside chance of a medal on Tuesday.
