England batsman Jonathan Trott has backed his side to transfer their fine Test form to the one-day arena.
The world number one Test side begin a five-match one-day international series against India in Hyderabad on Friday.
Trott, whose place in the national one-day side has been questioned in the past, believes that England can carry their success into the one-dayers.
"I think our lineup complements itself," said Trott. "We've a got a blend of everything, a few guys like to work around and a few like to hit the ball hard.
"We'd set our targets for Test match cricket and hopefully we can do it for one-dayers as well."
England beat India 4-0 in the Test series and 3-0 in the one-day series last summer.
India are current world champions in one-dayers and beat England 5-0 when the teams last met in a one-day series in India in 2008.
