England bowler Stuart Broad will undergo a second scan on his injured left ankle.
The 30-year-old was part of the Nottinghamshire side that lost to Northamptonshire in the T20 Blast semi-finals on Saturday, but was only able to bowl two wicketless overs.
Broad had been due to play for his county against Yorkshire this week, but he has now been withdrawn from that fixture on the advice of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Broad will instead undergo a second scan to determine the extent of the injury, with the results expected by the end of the week.
The seamer is not expected to miss any international action, having been left out of the one-day squad for the upcoming five-match series against Pakistan.
