David Willey suffers ankle injury

An ankle ligament problem will sideline England all-rounder David Willey for the next four weeks.

England international David Willey has been ruled out for a month with an ankle ligament injury.

The all-rounder suffered the complaint during the Northants Steelbacks' T20 Blast clash against Worcestershire last Friday.

However, it is expected that Willey will return to action in time for England's next one-day international against Ireland on August 27.

As far as his domestic commitments are concerned, it is expected that the 25-year-old will miss five T20 and two Championship matches.
