Eoin Morgan has admitted that it was a challenge for England to beat Ireland in their one-day international match in Dublin.
Morgan hit an unbeaten knock of 124 runs on Tuesday as the visitors picked up a six-wicket victory over their neighbours.
"The wicket was quite challenging, a lot of what we have there we're not used to as a side and we had a challenge with the ball and the bat," BBC Sport quotes Morgan as saying.
"Time in the middle as a batsman is crucial, especially with a big series coming up and I felt good."
England get their ODI series against Australia underway at Headingley on Friday.
