Graeme Swann has called upon the England coaching staff to select fellow spinner Monty Panesar for the upcoming Test series with Pakistan.
Panesar staked his claim for inclusion by taking eight wickets during a warm-up fixture against a Pakistan Cricket Board XI yesterday.
Swann believes that the bowling conditions in Dubai are favourable for spin bowling.
"I like the rhythm of spinners at each end and I'd go with two in this part of the world," Swann told BBC Sport.
"Monty has done himself no harm and given [coach] Andy Flower and [captain] Andrew Strauss a tough decision."
Panesar, 29, has not played an international Test match since July 2009.
