England record their lowest ever Test score against Pakistan as they lose the match and three-match series in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in their three-match series against England by bowling out the tourists for just 72 runs this afternoon.

Spearheaded by Monty Panesar, England took the remaining Pakistan wickets early in the morning session for 214 runs.

That left England requiring 145 victory, but they fell 72 runs short of the target.

Only two batsman - captain Andrew Strauss (32) and Matt Prior (18) - made double figures for the away side.

The score of 72 is England's lowest ever in a Test match against Pakistan.
