India captain MS Dhoni has praised his side's performance with both bat and ball following their convincing win over South Africa at the World Cup.
The defending champions made it two consecutive victories at the tournament on Sunday as they beat their Pool B rivals by 130 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Dhoni believes that it was a commanding all-round display that saw the Indians record such a morale-boosting triumph.
"I think it's more than just the result that pleases me today. It was a back-to-back good performance from both the bowling and batting unit, which is why we can enjoy it," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"South Africa are such a good side, so I think that makes it an even more satisfying win. I felt the bowlers bowled well, the right areas, the spinners varied their pace and that was some of the reason for our success.
"A couple of run outs made things even more impressive. Once the batsmen took us on and we got them in the field with some great work, that was the real turning point. After two games, we've shown we're able to execute our plans well. There's an improvement in each and every game."
India are back in action next Saturday when they face the UAE in Perth.
