England lead India by 244 runs in the final Test match and are closing in on a draw that will secure them a 2-1 series win.

England have edged closer to securing a draw with India in their fourth and final Test match in Nagpur.

The tourists have headed into lunch on day five on 240-3, a lead of 244 runs.

The visitors resumed the morning session from their overnight score of 161-3, with Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell their two batsmen.

Trott completed his century in the morning session and is currently unbeaten on 106 runs, while Bell has taken his overnight score of 24 to 61.

England lead India 2-1 in the series.
