Yuvraj Singh has been included in India's World Twenty20 squad following months of cancer treatment.
The all-rounder was being treated for lung cancer in America and had originally targeted a return to international cricket next year.
India's selectors have chosen Singh for a two-match series with New Zealand next month before beginning their campaign in Sri Lanka.
The 30-year-old has not played for India since the Test series against the West Indies last November.
