Kings XI Punjab have beaten Kolkata Knight Riders by 23 runs in their Indian Premier League match this afternoon.
Kings batted first and set a target of 132-9 from their 20 overs, with Virender Sehwag (37), Shikhar Dhawan (19) and Glenn James Maxwell all on the scorecard.
Kolkata struggled to respond and their task of getting back into the match took a blow as they lost three early wickets.
Suryakumar Yadav hit 25 and Robin Uthappa made 19 as they finished on 109, with Punjab keeping their place at the top of the IPL.
