Saqlain Mushtaq offers Saeed Ajmal "help and support"

Pakistan legend Saqlain Mushtaq offers his help to banned off-spinning protege Saeed Ajmal, who may have to adjust his action to return to international cricket.

Pakistan legend Saqlain Mushtaq has offered banned bowler Saeed Ajmal his assistance in adjusting his action.

Ajmal has been suspended from bowling in international cricket after his action was found to be outside of the 15 degrees tolerance allowed by ICC regulations.

The 36-year-old has vowed to return in time for the World Cup in February 2015, and Mushtaq, who took 208 wickets in 49 Tests, has revealed that he would be willing to help his fellow off-spinner re-model his action if needed.

"I will help and support saeed ajmal to the best of my ability if required," Mushtaq said on Twitter.

Pakistan have announced that they will appeal the ruling against the world's leading one-day international bowler.
