Pakistan have recovered after losing four wickets before tea on the final day of the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai, despite finishing the afternoon session 147 runs behind.
The Black Caps declared on 250-9 this morning to give themselves a healthy advantage of 261 runs.
In reply, Shan Masood and Taufeeq Umar opened the batting, but New Zealand struck early through Trent Boult to dismiss Umar for just four.
Masood and Azhar Ali tried to steady Pakistan's attack with a strong partnership, but it was eventually broken when Ali (24) was taken out by Mark Craig.
Wickets began to tumble, with Masood (40) being the next to fall, while Misbah-ul-Haq was sent packing for a duck by Boult, leaving Pakistan on 75-4.
Younis Khan (30 not out) was able to push Pakistan over the 100-run mark, while Asad Shafiq remains unbeaten on 11.
Pakistan reached tea on 114-4.
