Three tons put South Africa on way to series win over India

South Africa reach 438-4 from their innings to leave India with a big task in the fifth and final ODI in Mumbai.

AB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock each recorded centuries to help South Africa post 438-4 in the fifth one-day international against India.

The Proteas lost Hashim Amla (23) early on in Mumbai, but it was left to the imperious trio to take over as the tourists racked up the highest total of the five matches so far.

De Kock fell for 109, while De Plessis was forced to retire due to cramp after claiming 133 runs off 115 balls.

Last of the century makers to be sent packing was De Villiers, who reached a ton off just 57 balls but eventually went for 119 at the Wankhede Stadium.

The series is currently locked at 2-2.
