Surrey have announced that Zafar Ansari has signed a new contract with the club.
The 23-year-old, who has risen through the ranks at The Oval, has tied himself to Surrey until the summer of 2018.
"I have been at the club a long time now but have signed my new contract because I feel that at the moment, Surrey is a good side that is getting better," he told the club's official website.
"I am now at the stage in my career where I want to be at a club that offers the best chance of winning trophies, both now and in the future. With that in mind therefore, I was very happy to commit to this new deal."
Meanwhile, director of cricket Alec Stewart added: "Zafar has had another excellent season for Surrey in all formats with both the bat and the ball and fully deserved his England selections.
"I have every confidence that he will be around the England side for many years to come and am delighted he has committed his future to Surrey."
The all-rounder was recently forced to pull out of England's tour to the United Arab Emirates because of a hand injury.
