Phil Taylor has earned his first points of the 2014 Premier League after he recorded a 7-3 victory over Simon Whitlock in Glasgow on Thursday evening.
Both Taylor and Whitlock had begun their campaigns with three consecutive defeats, but the 16-time world champion missed just two darts at a double as he averaged nearly 105 in overcoming the Australian player.
Raymond van Barneveld came out on top in the all-Dutch affair with Michael van Gerwen, hitting five 180s on the way to a 7-5 success.
PDC World Championship runner-up Peter Wright wowed the Scottish crowd by defeating Adrian Lewis 7-1 to move to the top of the standings.
Gary Anderson also impressed his home supporters in averaging in excess of 106 to beat Dave Chisnall 7-5, but a third Tartan win never materialised as Wes Newton held Robert Thornton to a 6-6 draw.
