Defending men's 10m platform gold medallist Tom Daley has pinpointed Australia's Matthew Mitcham once again as his main rival at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Both England's Daley and Mitcham made their Commonwealth debuts in Delhi four years ago, and it was Daley who pipped Mitcham to gold, two years after Mitcham won the Olympic gold in Beijing and Daley finished seventh.
The duo are now set to do battle again on the final evening of competition at Edinburgh's Royal Commonwealth Pool next Saturday, August 2.
Asked how he felt about defending his title, Daley told reporters: "I'm really excited but it's going to be tough because Matt Mitcham, the Olympic champion from 2008, is going to be my main rival in that. It will be a good battle."
Daley also beat Mitcham to the 10m synchronised title in 2010, but is still unsure if he will compete in the event at this year's Games.
