Juventus boss Antonio Conte has said that, unlike AC Milan, his side did their talking on the pitch throughout the season.
The Turin club, who trailed Milan for much of the current campaign, were able to close out the season with an impressive run of results after overtaking Massimiliano Allegri's side on the final stretch.
"I remember hearing Allegri announce in a press conference that Milan would secure their second 'star'," Conte told Sky Sport Italia.
"What happened on the pitch did the talking. We won eight of our last nine games, proving this didn't manage to put us off our stride.
"I said the best team would win over the course of a season, the most consistent and organised. I think Juventus proved superior to Milan in those terms."
Juventus host Atalanta tomorrow in the final game of the season.
