Dickson Etuhu makes Sweden switch

Former Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers midfielder Dickson Etuhu completes a move to Swedish side AIK.

Dickson Etuhu has completed a move to Swedish club AIK.

The 32-year-old has been without a team since his Blackburn Rovers contract was cancelled by mutual consent in July of this year.

Speaking about his transfer, the Nigerian told Reuters: "I'm excited, I've got this feeling inside me that I've just never had.

"A lot of people said to me 'stay in England'. I've played in England all my career. I wanted something different."

Etuhu started his career with Manchester City, before having spells with Preston North End, Norwich City, Sunderland and Fulham prior to joining Blackburn.
