Arsenal officials allegedly blame VAR for some of the club's poor results in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal officials have allegedly taken VAR decisions into consideration when contemplating the future of manager Unai Emery.

With Arsenal now eight points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City in the Premier League, the pressure is mounting on the Spaniard.

However, as well as the Gunners hierarchy reportedly being prepared to support their current boss, The Athletic claims that the board are also putting the club's poor form down to VAR.

The North London outfit were denied a potential winner against Crystal Palace due to the intervention of technology, while they should arguably have been given a penalty in the 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United.

Arsenal face games against Southampton, Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion after the international break - fixtures which could make or break Emery's future in the dugout.
