Mikel Arteta has said that the returns of Jack Wilshere and Bacary Sagna were huge positives in Arsenal's 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers.
Vice-captain Arteta scored the winning goal in the match at the Emirates Stadium, during which both players made their comebacks from long injury layoffs.
England international Wilshere ended his 17-month wait for an Arsenal appearance, while Sagna featured for the first time this season after recovering from a broken leg.
"They both made a big difference," Arteta told the club's official website. "Bac was brilliant going forward and in his defending, and Jack showed what he can do for the team.
"I am really pleased that we are starting to get some players back."
Arteta joined Arsenal from Everton for a reported £10m fee in the summer of 2011.
