New Arsenal assistant coach Steve Bould has revealed that it was "an absolute privilege" to be given the role at the club.
Bould, who spent 11 years with the Gunners as a player, was promoted from youth team coach following Pat Rice's retirement earlier this month.
"I know I have some big boots to fill with Pat having spent 44 years at the club and that is going to be the hard part," the 49-year-old told BBC Sport.
"It is more than excitement, it is an absolute privilege and an honour."
The former defender won three league titles and two FA Cups during his time with Arsenal.
