Steve Bould 'frustrated with coaching role at Arsenal'

Assistant manager Steve Bould is reportedly growing more frustrated with his role at Arsenal as Arsene Wenger allegedly chooses to ignore his tactical advice.

Arsenal assistant manager Steve Bould is reportedly becoming increasingly frustrated with his role at the club.

Bould, a former Gunners defensive stalwart as a player, succeeded Pat Rice as Arsene Wenger's number two in 2012.

The Daily Mail claims that Bould is finding that his tactical advice and suggestions are being ignored by the French manager of late.

With Wenger's role at the club potentially coming under review at the end of the season, Bould is believed to be "biting his lip" regarding how he feels.

However, Bould's position could be under threat if Wenger is replaced at the Emirates Stadium, with the trio of Frank de Boer, Dennis Bergkamp and Marc Overmars being tipped as a "dream team" alternative.
